Pastels, you da man.
I am not sure if pastels (pale or not) are still trendy or not. I don’t care. As long as you nail down the color combination, it never really goes out of style. Here are some quick recent fave’s. Kisses!

Micro living. Shared. ‘Salva46’.
This apartment, located in Barcelona has been renovated by Miel Arquitectos and Studio P10.
Each unit in the Salva46 apartment has areas for sleep, work, relaxation and hygiene; with shared kitchen, dining and living areas.
Both units use plenty of light coming from the windows at the ends. The brightness flow into the center communal area.
The rooms have a double bed, a desk, storage space and access to a balcony. Efficient and simple. Both bedrooms have raised platforms so that the 3.4 metre high ceilings are utilized. These mezzanines has low shelves that also act as balustrades along the edges.

Pool therapy - A triology - I
I know, I know. The internet is full of “18 most beautiful pools you can ever imagine” type of lists. This is not necessarily one of those cos let’s face it i have a menu-ful of pool images already.
This one is a couple of new random pools I gathered lately.
I should mention, I don’t exactly like swimming in pools, it’s bad hygene. I just think they are pretty to look at. It’s relaxing. Just like coffee smelling better than it tastes.
1. Palladian Pool, Los Angeles
Designed by famous architect Andrea Palladio in the 1500s and now home to antique dealer Richard Shapiro, this replica of Italy’s Villa Chiericati has an enchanting pool.

2. Banana Villa, Virgin Islands
On the edge of a cliff with the most refreshing vistas, this awesome St Thomas villa is wonderful choice for a dreamy island getaway. The infinity pool has the same color of the sea below and it looks like something I’d ‘canitbemine’.
3. The pool that used to be a limestone quarry, MA
This gorgeous pool is built into a Berkshires limestone quarry in Massachusetts and is owned by Joel Goldstein. But the idea to turn the quarry into a pool actually was the ex-owner’s.
The pool is about 15,000 gallons, 20 by 40 feet and deepening from about 3 feet to about 7 feet. I strongly recommend that you read the whole story here.
4. Minimalistic pool, Colombia
The pool at the Colombian getaway of New York interior designer Richard Mishaan is shaded with palms. Located in Cartagena, north side of the country.
5. House with tiny pool, Osaka
6. Contemporary Pool, Floria
Isn’t it dreamy? The pool, located in architect Campion Platt’s Palm Beach home, has a fountain wall that also functions as a fabulous movie screen at night. A serious canitbemine moment.
Bonus: Me in Parque Lage, Rio de Janeiro
Personally not great memories for me there, but this place is amazing and deserves to be on this list. Formerly the residence of industrialist Enrique Lage and his wife, singer Gabriela Bezanzoni, this mansion was remodeled in the 1920’s. In 60’s the land became a public park, with walking trails through subtropical forest. The Visual Arts School of Parque Lage and a café open to the public operate here now. (Oh and Snoop Dogg’s infamous ‘Beautiful’ video has scenes here as well.)
That’s it for me now, I’ll continue the triology with more awesome pools soon!
